Variances in softness, elastic memory, thermal conductivity, softening point and thermal expansion must be considered and are important criteria in the machining process. MGM Plastics accepts file transfers to ensure accuracy of print dimensions. Our machine shop utilizes Bobcad and Autocad to import many file types. Our preference is either: “.IGES”, “.DXF”. |
LASER CUTTING AND ENGRAVING
18"x25" 30 Watt CO2 Laser
Our 30 watt Mercury laser machine has a table size of 18” X 24”. The thickest material we can use on this machine for vector cutting is 3/8”, and while the machine cuts it polishes and edges. Any “.AI” or “.CDR” file is ideal for this laser machine.
If you are looking for laser etching, we can work from photos or drawings, and most kinds of downloaded images or samples. We can create light enhanced laser designs, including some custom work. We are able to be creative with your design and can experiment within the limits of our machine capabilities. Ask our specialist. He is trained to get the best result possible.
